Parent Notice of Appropriate Behavior

Dear Parents/Guardians, We would like to thank you for allowing your child to join Illinois Valley Youth Soccer Club. Our goal for our club is to teach soccer in a fun and safe manner, while promoting positive self image, teamwork and good sportsmanship.

While we are happy to have all children play, there are some instances where children, parents, and or spectators will be excluded.

Among those are:

Use of Profanity, bullying, harassment, fighting, smoking on school grounds, yelling at players, referees, coaches, board members, or general behavior that is not healthy for our players to be subjected to. If a parent or child is in violation of our rules, they will be warned or asked to leave the premises, depending on the severity of the offense. If they refuse, or come back without first getting permission from the soccer board, their child will be dropped from the soccer program with no refund.

If you have a problem that needs resolving, we ask that you first talk to your child’s coach. Please do not do this in the middle of a practice or game. Your coach is in charge of many children and needs to focus on all of them. Your coach’s phone # will be given to you. Feel free to call them to discuss any problems. If you are not able to solve the problem, or you feel uncomfortable with the coach, please feel free to call a board member to help you. You will be provided with their phone #‘s. There will be one of us at every game.

Also, please have your player arrive at all practices and games on time. If they attend Boys & Girls Club, you will need to notify Boys & Girls Club to have them sent out to the field on time. If they will be absent, please inform the coach ahead of time.
